Shadow Jaguar
~To Evil and to Drink~
It felt good again The sinking feeling The poison of evil Once again Flowing Deep in his veins
He felt a sadness Of losing it once And forever it seemed He would never again Know the love Of that evil
He could almost see The world he loved It's red glow flowing Moving Intertwining Loving The surrounding blackness
The shadows crept about him Holding him In their cold embrace He smiled at them Felt his love for them Their love finally returning Flowing From him to them Them to him Through their renewed Oneness, wholeness
He smiled His evil grin A grin that Had charmed A hundred women Before
His woman Then came around The corner From their living room Into their bedroom
Her body swaying sensuously In the dim light Causing him to smile His mouth closed Hiding what he could no longer Hide Or wanted to as he felt the evil Creep fully into his heart Once again
Her lithe figure clad in only a shirt He took in his arms He held her lovingly A feeling He was quickly losing touch with
She kissed him deeply And he in return The look in her eyes Was complete love And trust She did not know What he was Or what he was finally Letting take over
A creature of the night Filled with lonliness And despair And bitterness Of the living Born Of a need To feed upon them For his own undeath's Need
He listened to her moan In his ear As he began To lick and nibble on her throat His fangs growing larger His blood pumping In his head And heart
He said I love you darling Just before He sank his fangs Deep into her neck And began draining The life from her body
When she was lifeless Her eyes cold and staring into Nothing He merely smiled And felt his coldening heart Freeze over completely
He kicked the body away Threw the wedding ring to the floor And savoured the flow Of her blood In his veins And the power And the life That she had given To him
It was not the first time And it would not be the last
Goodbye
Shakespeare said once and probably many times "Parting is such sweet sorrow"
I think he underestimated the partings we undergo and that all in love must endure this pain of parting until they meet again
When the time to say goodbye to you comes every evening we are together it hurts beyond my control
My heart feels as though ripped from my body a dagger thrust and twisted in my soul
Tears flood my eyes as I watch your back move further away from me hoping to see you turn one last time and see your smile to lessen the pain
I turn the music up and sing the pain from my heart and soul and by the time I reach my world and prepare to sleep the pain has reduced to its numbing until I hear your voice or see your face then my heart and soul will brighten and shine and the love you give will make me whole again.
The hardest words for some to say
Words when said with the feeling they should have mean more than anything else in this whole universe
Words that have power over your heart and soul whether you say them or receive them
As words they say almost nothing yet their meaning has hold over everything
These three words have the power to control the feeling or to destroy the feeling or as they were meant to be used to make the one you say them to feel the greatest feeling deep down inside their heart and soul with complete happiness
I love you
Here I sit in my dungeon. Cold as always. Illness afflicted. Lonely and mattered not. Forgotten by friends. Unremembered by family. The rest of the world, Unknowing, Uncaring.
The world outside hath taught me the foolishness of Love. And a Big Fool I then Be To care, to express yourself, to only want to love and be loved in return. A fantasy at best! Trust and honour, the vow of a word to be felt and kept but not without cost To have someone at your side and then find out they've been looking the other way
To have life thrown back in your face time and time again It matters not how you do things you will always be punished and punishment need not be fair or equal to your good deeds. It can be heaped and heaped until you thought you'd break from the weight of your emotions and then someone will throw you that straw to break your back and the fates will laugh at you What do you do? Do you break and choose the next life in hopes of something better Or do you carry on only to find life beat you again and again What do you do? Why fight it? Give in to the fates. Be uncaring, bitter, hateful and deceptive,
Alone
As I soak my pillow in silent tears the magical water of my eyes lost for naught I am thinking of many things my mind churning like a whirlwind My body growing cold as it does when the warmth of my heart leaves for the Abyss of Lost Love And the awakening of logic and fear reside in its place filling the newly created void I reach out for you, to hold you, to feel your warmth to ask for you to hold me and comfort me as both a caring mother and heartfelt lover But you're not there sleeping peacefully beside me as you once did but I can feel you here in spirit and I feel you reach over and hold me tight To soothe me and say "its okay love, all will be well, go back to sleep now" I begin to breath deeply as the demons of the cold and darkness leave And the god of sleep comes to take me And my last thoughts are of you my love as they always are and forever will be.
Cat's Play
I strap on my sword Sling my bow And ready my knives For the great hunt
But if the cats are to be caught The Mind, Heart and Soul Must also be prepared Or they will take them all
I arrived at their den And crept eagerly to the entrance Unsure as what to expect Of these feline marauders
Here I checked my weapons And found them to be gone I looked to the gods And smiled devilishly You may have taken my weapons But you left my Mind, Heart and Soul, Because the greatest of hunters To which I belong Need not such trifle objects to defeat my foe I accept your challenge To the greatest hunt of all To defeat without to kill To capture and to tame
I ascend at the entrance Following the sounds I hear Sounds of growling & hissing I turn a corner to find Two great cats indeed! I see them as panther and leopard
Their tails worth a fortune Their hides worth a mint The hardships to tame them Will be worth the money unspent I approached eager to tame these Feline creatures of exquisite beauty It was then the gods told me They had been given names Tia and Angel.
Angel I thought? What a strange name for a killer Especially since she seemed to be the one in power The other, Tia, meowing and purring Submissive enough But wanting to take orders From no one
They attacked and retreated They growled and hissed So sleek and so agile Nothing amiss Then they change And seem to blend themselves together Into a purrfect dance Of friendship and fun What tricksters!
There were other hunters there They were held by the cats Begging and pleading For the release Which would come easily for them They were not chosen.
I watched the wild cats play and play and play Til my heart was filled with joy I love to watch cats They are both wild and coy
The cats seemed entirely tame And I felt no need to go on I thought the gods were playing Some sort of joke?
I went to my home and met my own domestic He greeted me at the door as usual And I told him all that went on He already knew What I was to find out the next day The cats had captured me I hadn't kept a close watch upon my heart Those damn cats had stolen it! I'll get them later! Yet my resolve had been faded So I wasn't so sure
Two nights later I was back And starting to feel the poison Run its course It was beginning to flow Through my second last weapon My Mind
I watched and found my chance To strike back at the cats I found out the pleasure Of the one named Angel Her pleasure belonged To the purest of all creatures The Unicorns How ironic for a hunter to turn prey I held her in thrall By my knowledge of the great horses One down, one to go Or so I thought
My mind was then taken Except for the very deepest parts I couldn't sleep or eat Clouded by thoughts of how To escape, to tame and if it came to it, To surrender to their charms and go peacefully. Overwhelmed by a poisonous charm? Help me I'm going mad!
While I thought of my plans I would dream about them I could not even sink into the Great escape of Fantasy. With my world turned around Tired and hungry My soul alone plunged on. It came to me A flash from the blue A weakness of the other She had left me a clue She was the least impressed of any By her own feminine and feline woo. So I told her of her beauty And charmed her to my side Now I thought I had them both
I stayed away until I thought My Heart and Mind would wither Three night later I was back for the cats.
I got closer to the cats Studied them and searched that Which is most important Their eyes.
One had a shallow beginning A door was not far off but The key was kept around her neck A protection symbol from another land I may have trouble breaking its code What's behind that door? I wonder what is there? Trouble as a kitten? Sorrow, grief, loneliness? I prefer to think that there are Great treasures there Happiness, kindness and love If only the code can be found She appears as a temptress So invitingly wild But when not in the dance I found She's nothing but a kitten
The other invites you into the Dark recesses of her soul Dark it is and you find That you cannot find anything Including your way out A maze that grabs you and Closes the door from behind Can you believe the treachery She lets you in but not out And see the emotion that's there It is specially given and only detectable By the chosen
The next day I complete my plan I feel not so overwhelmed now in Heart and Mind and then realize to late The pain thought to be in my heart Is now that same vicious poison Spreading through my Soul.
I start to wonder now whether the gods Are still joking or Is the new chosen to be the cats next meal Am I about to lose the fight? Beaten by...cats! I sneer and start to laugh Maybe a little hysterically At myself And become even more determined than ever.
The next night before the cats retire I put my plan into action Stalking one While the other occupies the hunters I present my Soul Script boldly Within seconds I know it has worked She has taken the bait I sit back with a smirk.
A quarter hour goes by and I find That the other has taken the bait too! Unfortunately I have not gotten away I seem to have only slowed The spreading in my Soul.
I have regained some pride Knowing I have them too I shall return the next night
The gods look down And smile at their cats The cats smile back and nod Another chosen hunter has just decided That the time has come For him to accept his fate And Surrender To the Cat's Play.
Although, as he does so He looks deep within And thanks the gods It has occurred to him That he has indeed won!
It's funny to think That this great hunter Has also been given The name of Jaguar
He watches the Cat's Play And wishes to join In the fun of Rolling and Loving The Fighting and the Playing.
The cats will leave their den And travel on to other hunters Leaving the chosen behind He is more than satisfied With the results of the hunt He has struggled and survived But survival doesn't necessarily mean Unharmed.

The Hunter
He arose From the pit of Hell To the greatest challenge Of his long lived life
A leader, A general In the blackest of armies Answering only to Her The Queen of the dark, red lands
He was an unimposing figure He looked nothing but a boy But his mind was sharper than a sword More observative than a crystal ball
He arrived at a dive Called Death's Smile They've heard about me? He asked himself with grin
The inside was typical Smokey, smelly, scummy A place for whores, pirates Thieves, assassins, black robes And worst of all, bankers and lawyers
As he sat A light came out on stage In the form of a woman This made him enraged
In moments he was at the bar He grabbed the owner Who is she? he commanded His eyes afire Fear gripped the barkeep/owner A fear never known
Another replied from near Her name is Tia A dancer from the great kingdom
he's been here for a year
He whirled to the speaker Yes go on His temper subsiding Tis all I know She speaks with few openly
Who else? Only one other I've seen A girl who appears Then disappears
Boyfriends? None
Go get me a dose of TX3 Get it your... A blade black as night Flashed in the dim light Blood poured to floor And the speaker was no more
He sat back down Watched Waited And smiled
The room was dark Just the way he liked it He closed the door behind Moonlight filtered Across an exposed face Of heavenly beauty
Her own blade flashed He caught it with ease He came in closer His breathe a cold breeze
I won't hurt you He said with a smile She didn't move But she didn't like his style
His eyes held power She knew she was powerless But her spirit held fast I want you tonight
His hands were so warm She was totally unwilling A love for another But his eyes drew her near Their gaze irresistable
She could feel his power As he caressed her smooth body Hands smooth and uncalloused They were intoxicating and deliciously warm She so forgot her fears And sank into a passion She thought unreachable He felt nothing And was gone when she awoke
The next night after work She greeted her friend One look was all it took And Angel turned her back
She asked for understanding And told all that there was Angel turned frowning But held her friend tight Let her cry awhile And then took flight Into the deep dark night
Unknowing that same dreaded darkness Followed her
She soon lost him Knowing the valley That she had grown up in Bound to it by an oath An oath as sacred as could be To protect the majestic heard Of Unicorns A job she was told Done only by the pure She figured she was underqualified She could not figure out it was Pure of heart and intent Not actions and habits
He searched the valley For countless weeks Killing everything Within his evil sights
Angel wept for days as she And the forest creatures followed His bloody trail Of death
Sensing something wrong The dancer made her way Into the woods That she knew little of
Towards evening The forest revealed to Angel That Tia was wandering alone On a direct course Into His hands, again
Angel while cursing everything Under the setting sun Ordered her best Unicorn to Lead away the danger She ordered another to help Tia to the Great pool She then sat Against the soft flanks of another and Drifted into a sleep Born of the last six days she'd been awake
Tia wandered the dark Confused and sat crying After passing what she thought to be The same rock she had passed Only a short time ago
Her spirits were raised when a Soft glowing horn came from behind A tall oak Attached was a Unicorn
The Unicorn took her To the Great Pool A glistening water body Always warm and reflecting The sun or the stars
With his fifth Unicorn kill And their blood flowing from His chin and protruding fangs He kept his course, getting faster As if he knew his goal was not far
Dawn came with little sun Clouds had come Angel knew it was a bad omen The Unicorns were also jumpy The great evil that had come to them And killed five Seemed unstopable
He came upon Tia swimming As he appraoched quietly she stood Water flowing off her form Unhappy to do so But having no choice He did watch one drop that seemed To enjoy its journey down every curve Of her smooth, voluptuous body
Angel woke up with a start It was late morning Tia!! she screamed aloud The Unicorns woke and within moments Were off for what seemed A battle they wouldn't return from
Tia He whispered in the Oddly silent wood
Get away from me you monster
Monster ? I hardly think so Judging by the moans You know were not faked
You used a spell on me She said forcefully slowly backing away
You yielded yourself to me I was only forceful You never tried to stop me
I did to She lied to herself I love somebody else She was beginning to feel guilty And he knew it And he was using it Too bad He shrugged while reaching out
Two screams tore through the air at once Knocking Tia backwards into the pool Tia looked and saw A gleaming white horn piercing his heart And Angel wrestling him to the ground
In a blinding flash that rocked the heavens The Hunter Became a red winged demon Larger than any man by two He spread great clawed wings And killed three unicorns With one mighty swipe With strength to make a giant envious
Angel jumped to her feet Drew a long silvery blade And charged with the rage of a mad bull
Her charged was short lived as The hunter shot a stroke Of the blackest lightning To create a hole clean through Her chest
Now my love join with me again
No!! She yelled running to Angels' blackened body
It would seem the Angel Has gone back to heaven He laughed loud and hard Ringing hers ears
With renewed vigour And a strength brought on By anger and pain And even worse A feeling of nothing else to lose
She saw her chance Picked up the sword and Drove it into his throat With so much force the Blade of the Forest shattered
His laugh changed to a scream And then a blood curdling groan as The forest floor opened and swallowed The once great hunter
The sky began to clear Shinning off the pool That had become tainted With the blood of an Angel
The Unicorns sat by the pool Waiting for the miracle Caused by the god given power In the Great Pool
Slowly the blood stopped flowing The wounds closed themselves The black returned to the creamy white And Angle stirred slowly awake In her friends' arms
