Torchered Soul
Tears they fall like
raindrops
Upon thy cheek so fair
Longing yet for another
Who simply isn't there.
Her heart beats yet an echo
No other yet can see
A wounded torchered heart it is
Where love suppose to be.
Her arms are yet but empty
Lonely, cold, and still.
Longing for a love she craves
Yet knowing he isn't real.
So as I tell this torchered soul
With time the pain will heal
And from the dark
Shall come the light
and love shall be revealed.
